UPDATE: the cost of my breakfast here has increased by 40% over the last year so no longer sustainable for regular visits. Food and service still great but coffee needs some improvement at £4.40 for a soy latte (April 2025). Original review: Regularly stop into this place to get some work done with a reasonably priced breakfast, good coffee and lovely service. Never had any issues! They also have gluten free bread so it’s a great spot for a warm toastie

Visiting London for the first time from Atlanta, GA, I was on the hunt for a great local café and Counter at King’s Wardrobe was an absolute gem! Tucked away in a peaceful corner near St. Paul’s, this spot offered the perfect blend of cozy atmosphere, fantastic coffee, and welcoming service. The coffee here is top-notch! I had a flat white that was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The pastries and food options were equally impressive, making it a great stop for breakfast or a midday pick-me-up. What stood out most was the ambiance. It’s a stylish but comfortable space. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the warm and inviting feel. When I come back, this is my go to spot for sure.

King’s Wardrobe is a real gem within the Native Apart Hotel chain. The apartments are very spacious and stylish, tucked away from the main road, making for a very peaceful stay in Central London. All of the staff are exceptionally friendly and engaging. Tyrese on reception was the absolute star ⭐ of our visit. So friendly and helpful, top job! The food was very good indeed. First class breakfast. Best of all the dining area was sedate and relaxed. Matched the feel of the apartments perfectly. As other reviewers have noted, the food and drink orders do seem to get separated in some way and one or other of them has to be followed up, but not a big issue. Overall, thoroughly recommended and would definitely stay again!

We discovered this cafe on a Bank holiday as we were wandering around the St Paul's area. It's a beautiful cafe and the food is really reasonable and very good but what I loved was the courtyard outside which was a little oasis and steeped in history. Absolutely stunning!

They must have upped their game recently as it wasn't as dysfunctional or slow as the last few reviews suggest. Well maintained toilet and friendly staff, can order online using the QR code on tables. We got granola(coconut yoghurt) and coffee: the latter was nice and strong.

If you’re looking for a aparthotel in the centre of London - this is it. Stylish and simplistic and elegant. Very impressive!
